The décor is reminiscent of classic beach cottages of the 1930's. French doors open to a quaint patio to enjoy cocktails or dinner on warm summer evenings.

"36 Beach" has a king-size bed with sumptuous down duvets and fine Italian linens and a complete kitchen ready for your own culinary creations or those of a private chef. A convertible sofa bed can accommodate two other guests. A recently remodeled bathroom with shower, and a washer and dryer inside the unit complete the amenities.

And, oh yes, if you choose to venture outside, the warm sand and cool pacific surf are just a 36 second stroll away.

Wendy Walsh is a television personality who has traveled extensively and experienced the pleasures of the world's finest hotels. The proprietor of the residential building of "36 Beach," Ms. Walsh is also a trained professional chef, happy to design a bed & breakfast package or private gourmet dinner for your special occasion. A longtime Venice resident, Ms. Walsh can act as your concierge, making dinner reservations, arranging in-room massage therapy, or even booking a private music performance in your garden. Location and Activities

Venice Beach is the official beach in the city of Los Angeles. Located just 15 minutes from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and 30 minutes from downtown Los Angeles, Venice Beach is a great place to stay if you are seeking a location close to the airport within reach of many attractions. The famous Venice Boardwalk, with its street performers of musicians, singers, jugglers, acrobats, mimes, comics, magicians, and fortune-tellers is just a five-minute walk from "36 Beach." Declared the "Skating Capitol of the World" in past years, activities at Venice Beach include roller blading and skating, bicycling, surfing, swimming, sunbathing, shopping, dining and sailing from Marina del Rey. The Santa Monica Pier Amusement Park is just a 15-minute bicycle ride along the beautiful beach bike path. Disneyland and Universal Studios Amusement Parks are both 45 minutes away by car.
